The Wheeling Park High School Band provides students a creative musical experience combined with vigorous physical activity. In the past 23 years, the Marching Band has won in excess of 250 marching music awards.

January 6 - All State Band Auditions @ Fairmont State College January 12 - Second Semester begins January 16 - Band Parents meeting; 7:30 pm in the WPHS Band Room January 20, 21 - Region Honor Band @ Brooke HS February 4 - Solo & Ensemble Festival @ West Liberty University February 20 - Band Parents meeting; 7:30 pm in the WPHS Band Room March 3 - Region Jazz Festival @ J. B. Chambers PAC, WPHS March 15, 16, 17 - All State Band, Choir & Orchestra @ Morgantown March 10 - Band Parents meeting; 7:30 pm in the WPHS Band Room April 16 - Band Parents meeting; 7:30 pm in the WPHS Band Room April 20 - Region Band Festival @ JMHS
The Park Band is again recognized for the highest Grade Point Average for bands in West Virginia! Congratulations also goes out to individual Grade Point Average award winners Dana Holmstrand and Bobbie Sellers. Band members were recognized at the Super Six Breakfast and at pregame before the AAA football championship game.
