Band Festival Information
For Friday, 24 April, all WPHS Band students are to be in full concert uniform (not unzipped, not in travel uniform but FULL CONCERT UNIFORM) in the band room by 7:20 am. This includes bibbers, section shirt OR polo, jacket (NO cape, NO gloves, NO helmet, NO shield). You must be wearing dark blue or black calf high socks (no ankle socks or white socks). Bandmembers will wear their black marching shoes. DON'T BE LATE! WE ARE LEAVING WPHS AT 7:20am!
On Tuesday, April 21st we will have special guest clinician Robert Palmer, Athletic Band Director at Alderson-Broaddus University, joining us for our after school rehearsal to help us prepare for band festival.
Footloose Pit Band Members
PIT ORCHESTRA MEMBERS- we will do our actual pit setup on Wednesday, 22 April after the band practice ends. Please plan on staying a few minutes to get our stage instruments in order. Sound engineering has a lot to do to get us ready for our Sunday, 26 April, cue to cue so we want to 'get it right' for them in our setup (we don't want to move once we setup).
