Title II - Teacher and Principal Training & Recruiting Fund

Title II is one of several programs funded unde the No Child Left Behind Act signed into law by President George W. Bush on January 8, 2002. The purpose of Title II is to prepare, train, and recruit highly qualified teachers and principals. Ohio County Schools uses Title II funds primarily for professional development. Two reading interventionists, one math interventionist, and two class-size retuction teachers are employed using these funds. Two private schools and five parochial schools located in Ohio County receive equitable Title II funds.
